TYLER SAMPLES, AMFT

Therapist

Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck in the same patterns, overwhelmed by life, or disconnected from the people around you. Or maybe you’re simply looking for a space where you can talk openly and better understand yourself. Whatever brings you to therapy, Tyler (he/him) strives to create a space where you can feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard.

Tyler believes therapy works best when it’s collaborative, compassionate, and guided by genuine curiosity. His style is warm and conversational, helping clients explore their experiences without judgment while discovering new ways to move forward.

Before becoming a therapist, Tyler spent nearly 20 years teaching improv theater to kids and adults. That experience shaped his ability to stay present, flexible, and responsive—meeting each client where they are rather than expecting them to fit into a particular mold.

He works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, with the shared goal of helping clients feel more connected—to themselves, to others, and to the lives they want to build.

Tyler is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and warmly welcomes neurodivergent clients (with or without a formal diagnosis), as well as anyone who may not have felt at home in therapy in the past. Tyler is supervised by Karen Malbon, LMFT.
